Introducing Chelsea C.
Share a brief overview of your professional background.
After working at People's United Bank (now M&T Bank), I continued my financial career at New England Federal Credit Union, now EastRise Credit Union, as a member service representative. Now, seven years later, I am an analyst in the Enterprise Risk Department. Even though I do not work directly with members, I still feel connected with the community through back office responsibilities and amazing volunteering opportunities through the Credit Union!
Share a bit about your personal interests or hobbies.
I love doing outdoor adventure activities of all sorts with my husband, gardening, spending time with friends and family, and running!
Recommend a local restaurant/shop/business that you love.
Sakura in Williston — my favorite sushi restaurant!
Tell us what you like most about living in the greater Burlington area.
In addition to my family living here (parents and two older sisters), I love the farm-to-table, eat local, support small businesses, environmentally friendly, and just simply "do good" vibe that Vermont provides!
Share what motivated you to join the BYP Advisory Board.
Previously, I was a part of the Credit Union's young professional group for three years and attended BYP events. Therefore, I wanted to continue my involvement, make more connections, and promote how awesome BYP is!
